#Snake2 (2012) - now #Snake2 DX: Reawakening (2021)

"This is the only way a sequel to Snake could work."
—Tony Ponce, Destructoid

"Finally, a Video Game with Machine-Gun-Wielding Flying Snakes."
—Kirk Hamilton, Kotaku

#Snake2 is a product of the 2012 Global Game Jam, butchering the prompt "Oroboros". It began as an attempt to make an intelligent puzzle game out of a snake with a hand, but in the end became a fast-paced drama of a flying snake with a hand confronting his abusive father. Or something. It is very of its time; the first game I ever made; and the first game I worked on that technically had a press feature, of all the things… but a very cool experience.

9 years later, my programmer husband determinedly fleshed out the game, christening it as #Snake2 DX: Reawakening.
